You can be an ectomorph and still get fairly big without roids it just takes a lot more effort. For a long time I was 6'2 135lbs of pure beanpole. And that was while playing sports and lifting and eating what I thought was enough. Right now I am 6'2 189 in the middle of a bulk at 17% bf. I can probably hit somewhere close to 200lbs at 12% body fat with a few more years. For a bodybuilder or a strongman 6'2 195-200lbs at 10-12% body fat isn't impressive at all. But most people would see that as a "big, lean dude." And my genetics for building muscle are average at best. You just have to work harder than most people and most importantly - be SMART with your training. For us ectomorphs the heaviest weight you can do 6-8 clean reps with is best. If it is a compound movement like overhead press, deadlift, squat, bench etc... focus on 5 sets of 5 and 3 sets of 3. The 10-12 rep range that is typically prescribed just doesn't work as well for us. And make sure your workouts are intense to the point of insanity. Like, Eric Bugenhagen intense.

@Liam Engram That doesn't have any bearing on whether roid gorillas are natural though. Not a single one of them is natural. Not a single bodybuilder looked like these gorillas a couple of decades ago. We didn't just magically get better genetics 50 years ago.

Both are juiced to the tits but you do realize there are guys out there who are 6+ cycles deep that aren't very big, right? There are plenty of guys out there that are absolutely juiced who aren't even as big as Philion.
